Prevent T2

Eating healthy and being more active can cut your risk of getting Type 2 Diabetes in half. Prevent T2 is a proven program to prevent or delay Type 2 Diabetes.
Lauren Amaya, PhD, RD, LD, CDCES with the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service will be providing the free CDC PreventT2 program virtually beginning this fall. Several educators across the state are also providing the program virtually or in-person. About the T2 Program

How Do I Qualify?

  • Your healthcare provider can help you find out if you have prediabetes or are at risk for Type 2 Diabetes.
  • You can also take a free risk-test at www.doihaveprediabetes.org

What Do I Get When I Sign Up?

  • Support from a trained Lifestyle Coach.
  • A year-long program: 16 weekly sessions and 6 monthly sessions.
  • Support from other participants.
