The Department of Plant and Soil Sciences develops and conducts extension and applied research programs to inform Oklahoma producers as to best management practices for cotton production. We conduct cotton variety performance and applied research trials as necessary; develop educational materials relating to the information; and disseminate it to growers and extension personnel by all appropriate means. We also publish a newsletter entitled "Cotton Comments" that is generated at key times during the growing season.
