Josh Campbell, beginning farmers and ranchers state specialist for Oklahoma State University Extension, will host a weekly webinar series for new producers from March 5 through May 14.

The free webinar series will provide opportunities for beginning farmers and ranchers to engage with a variety of topics important for new agricultural enterprises. Sessions range from business planning, farm taxes, enterprise budgeting, grants and loans to wholesale and e-commerce platforms.

Who and what: Anyone who is interested in starting a farm or ranch operation of any size is encouraged to attend the weekly Zoom. Campbell will host the series through his experience as a county Extension educator of nine years and now in his role as state specialist for almost a year.

When and where: Wednesdays, March 5 through May 14, noon-1 p.m. via Zoom.

Why: New farmers and ranchers need support and resources as they build their operations. These sessions are designed to create a relationship between the next generation of producers and OSU Extension.
