•  David Lalman, OSU Extension beef cattle specialist, offers guidance on checking water quality in drought stressed ponds. Dr. Lalman encourages producers to contact their OSU Extension local county office for low-cost water testing.
• In the Mesonet weather report, Gary McManus, state climatologist, discuses the extreme heat, statewide worsening drought and the number of days with high temperatures above the century mark.
  
• Derrell Peel, OSU Extension livestock marketing specialist, says beef demand is holding steady going into fall.
  
• In Cow-Calf Corner, Mark Johnson, OSU Extension beef cattle breeding specialist, talks with John Weir, OSU Extension fire ecologist, about the benefits of using prescribed fire as a method to control eastern redcedar in pastures.
  
• Shannon Ferrell, OSU Extension agricultural law specialist, offers guidance on farm transition planning and the one thing families can do to get started. He also invites viewers to the upcoming Farm Transition Workshops around the state presented by OSU Extension in partnership with the Noble Research Institute.
