  • With New World Screwworm inching closer to the U.S. border, the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry partners with OSU Extension on a workshop to train those who will respond if the pest makes its way to Oklahoma.
  • In the Mesonet weather report, state climatologist Gary McManus shows a worsening drought map and says the possibility of extreme heat returns next week.

  • Just in time for graduation, SUNUP Host Lyndall Stout learns how a senior design project in the OSU Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering is addressing a real-life streambank erosion and downstream runoff problem not far from campus. Interviews include Mari Chinn, professor and department head, Kevin Moore, assistant professor, and Tatumn Kennedy, the 2026 Ferguson College of Agriculture outstanding senior.
