  • Rosslyn Biggs, OSU Extension beef cattle specialist, discusses recent cases Theileria in the state. Dr. Biggs says this disease can mimic symptoms of anaplasmosis and producers should be watching their herd closely.
  • Amy Hagerman, OSU Extension agricultural policy specialist, provides a drought assistance update and discusses details on program changes affecting row crop and forage producers. Dr. Hagerman also underscores the importance of good year-round record keeping.
  • Todd Hubbs, OSU Extension crop marketing specialist, discusses the recent rally in the grain markets.
  • In Cow-Calf Corner, Scott Clawson, OSU Extension northeast area specialist, explains the Livestock Risk Protection program.
  • Kris Hiney, OSU Extension equine specialist, has information on feeding horses this summer.
  • Daniel Adamson, OSU Extension soil and water conservation specialist, demonstrates an app that illustrates how water infiltrates the soil.
  • Finally, SUNUP Host Lyndall Stout learns how a senior design project in the OSU Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering is addressing a real-life streambank erosion and downstream runoff problem not far from campus. Interviews include Mari Chinn, professor and department head, Kevin Moore, assistant professor, and Tatumn Kennedy, the 2026 Ferguson College of Agriculture outstanding senior.
