Oklahoma Home & Community Education
Oklahoma Home and Community Education, Inc. is a group of continuing education in all aspects of home and community life. The organization's ultimate mission is to educate its members to be well-informed and able to handle change in their homes and communities. Through its relationship with the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service, OHCE presents research-based information to its members.

OHCE Meetings:
- Oklahoma Home and Community Education Executive Meetings 3rd Monday at 9:30AM at the Ottawa Co. Extension Office Conference Room (All Dates are Tentative & Subject to change)
- Spring River and Elm View groups are meeting jointly on the 2nd Tuesday of each month with business beginning at 1:30 PM at the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church.
2024 OHCE Community Projects:
- DIMES for Ottawa County
Suggests that each member save dimes from January 1 to November 15 to be used for a special Christmas Community Service project.
2023's project was a food donation towards the Ottawa County 4-H food drive for the Salvation Army.
- Quarterly Donation Project
Each quarter OHCE members will provide necessity items for the needy in Ottawa County. Items may go to groups, churches, or schools according to need.
OHCE Cultural Enrichment Workshops
To register for the following workshops call the Extension office. Information will come available closer to dates.

OHCE Fundraising
All members are encouraged to sell and purchase RADA Cutlery items. All proceeds are used to fund the OHCE projects throughout the year. Contact the Extension Office at (918) 542-1688 or the chairman, Linda Garrett to order or purchase any RADA product.
