Oklahoma Home and Community Education, Inc. is a group of continuing education in all aspects of home and community life. The organization's ultimate mission is to educate its members to be well-informed and able to handle change in their homes and communities. Through its relationship with the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service, OHCE presents research-based information to its members.

OHCE Meetings:
- Oklahoma Home and Community Education Executive Meetings 3rd Monday at 9:30AM at the Ottawa Co. Extension Office Conference Room (All Dates are Tentative & Subject to change)
- Spring River and Elm View groups are meeting jointly on the 2nd Tuesday of each month with business beginning at 1:30 PM at the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church.
2023 OHCE Community Projects:
- DIMES for Ottawa County
Suggests that each member begin on January 1 until November 15, 2023 to save dimes to be used for a special Ottawa County Community Service project.
- After School Back-Pack Project
Specific items needed will be announced after coordinating with schools.
- February - Bring non-perishable food items to be distributed to Wyandotte School Back-Pack Program.
- May - Bring money to purchase water or a case of bottled water to be give to the Boys and Girls Club Summer Program
- September - Bring non-perishable food items to be distributed to Afton School Back-Pack Program.
- December - Bring non-perishable food items to be distributed to Fairland School Back-Pack Program.
Ottawa County OHCE Scholarship
$100 Scholarship Sponsored by the Members of Ottawa County OHCE. To apply, please complete the OHCE Scholarship Application.
OHCE Fundraising
All members are encouraged to sell and purchase RADA Cutlery items. All proceeds are used to fund the OHCE projects throughout the year. Contact the Extension Office at (918) 542-1688 or the chairman, Linda Garrett to order or purchase any RADA product.
