About Me

My fondest memories stem from being a 4-H member in high school. After graduating from Waynoka High School, serving in the Woods County Extension Office was a great way to stay involved in 4-H. I hold a bachelor’s degree in mass communication, which I attained from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. My education pairs well with my duties at the office, which include social media management, writing newsletters and press releases, occasional photo shoots and conducting promotional videos for 4-H and Oklahoma Home and Community Education (OHCE) programs. I help publicize events by creating and posting graphics and information to our county Facebook pages and newsletters. I also attend a majority of these events to help in any way I can and ensure that they run smoothly. I then contact local newspapers and send in photos and event recaps to highlight these events and our members who participated.

My mission is to provide community members with local information, events and opportunities to keep them involved in Oklahoma State University Extension. I enjoy this role because I get to interact with community members of all ages.
