My responsibilities on the Rural Opioid Technical Assistance Grant include building community partnerships and providing educational opportunities for families, youth and the community on the effects of opioids. Our goal is to provide the communities we serve with accessible, up-to-date and evidence-based information on the opioid crisis, including preventing overdose and substance use disorder treatment. I love being able to work in the areas of health communication and adolescent health and development.
I attended Lubbock Christian University and earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Youth and Family Ministry in 2014. I also a Master of Public Health degree from Utah State University in 2020. In my spare time I love doing anything that gets me outdoors with my husband and dogs. I enjoy camping, biking, hiking and running.
