Areas of Expertise
I try to be a mentor to the youth in our counties, helping them develop leadership, communications and life skills through 4-H projects – I remember how important the 4-H educators were to me when I was a child. I’m also responsible for school enrichment activities such as chick embryology research, the anti-bullying program and yoga for children. Lately we’ve been putting more emphasis on the important STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) areas of study, introducing at least one new project at each 4-H meeting.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in family and consumer sciences from East Central University in Ada.
