About Me

I have my Master’s degree in Education and my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Early Childhood as well as Home Economics. I received both degrees from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.

I have been a 4H leader for about 30 years. In that time I have traveled and mentored kids focusing on tribal and Native American programs, due to the fact that they are typically not as involved. One program is a reservation program with Choctaw nations for example.

I do mentoring with a group of 61 4H members, where I partner them with an adult members and we do different activities like family nights out. I also partner with the Calvin school and am working on obtaining a national grant for the 4H mentoring program within the school.  Additionally, I partner with churches and invite kids in for a youth service and make sure they make it home safely.

I have a love for the children of my community and youth as a whole. My goal in life is to help individuals reach their full potential, no matter what the age. Not only do I enjoy working with kids and young adults, I enjoy working with their families as well. I find helping people and building those bonds to be inspiring.
