About Me

I have a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Science in early childhood education and home economics from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.

I have been a 4-H leader for about 30 years, traveling and mentoring kids while focused on tribal and Native American programs, including a reservation program with the Choctaw Nation.

I facilitate group mentorship for 4-H members that involves pairing them up with adults for different activities such as family nights. I also partner with the Calvin School District and strive to obtain federal grants for 4-H mentoring.  Additionally, I work with churches to host youth services.

I have a love for the children of my community and youth. My goal in life is to help individuals reach their full potential, no matter what the age. Not only do I enjoy working with kids and young adults, I also find it rewarding to involve their families. Encouraging people to build healthy relationships within the community is inspiring.
