About Me

4-H helped me become who I am today. I have always had a passion for 4-H and knew at an early age that I wanted to be a 4-H Youth Development educator. I want to help youth recognize their full potential, set goals and strive to “Make the Best Better,” which is the well-known 4-H mantra. I want to help youth have experiences and opportunities they may not otherwise have access to, meet new people, and learn new life skills.  I want to reach as many young people as possible and have an impact on their lives.

I graduated from Indianola High School in May 2014, then began college pursuing a degree in wildlife biology at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah in the fall of 2014. In May 2015, I transferred to Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva to pursue a bachelor of science degree in agricultural business. I graduated in December 2017 and began my career immediately following graduation. I earned my Master of Science degree in Agricultural Education from Oklahoma State University in May 2020.
