About Me

A longtime Oklahoma 4-H member, I am a past state 4-H president, state 4-H ambassador and state 4-H Hall of Fame inductee. I am wrapping up my bachelor's degree in human resource management at Northeastern State University where I helped organize a collegiate 4-H chapter.

In my Extension role, I manage our country's online 4-H enrollment data-base. I focus on helping students improve their public speaking skills and community service development. With my background in 4-H leadership, I enjoy mentoring students and getting them over the hurdle of public speaking. I also have experience in nutrition education and assist with the Character Counts! program that provides different levels of character education to youth, parents, teachers and other community leaders. I specifically facilitate the Character Critters group that teaches Pre-K, kindergarten and first grade students through puppets, a story line and worksheets.

4-H and the many opportunities offered to the community through Oklahoma State University Extension enrich the lives of children and adults, and I'm proud to belong to the organization.
